Why argue with an internet idiot?

Last Friday, superstar blogger "The Field Negro" wrote a post informing his readers of a white racist blog.  Mr. Field Negro encouraged his readers or at least gave them the option, to comment on this racist's blog by linking it to his.  I won't name the idiot here, you can go to the Field Negro's blog and check it out if your interested.

This clown's blog had very ignorant photos and views of Black folk.  One post in particular, was about over weight Black women and "Black men on the Down Low."  It was really immature stuff, something you would assume came from an insecure teenager.  It's what one would expect from a white hate mongers blog.

Let me say that I like the Field Negro's blog, but this racist clown does not deserve anymore attention then he already receives from his supporters.  Furthermore, what would debating a person like this really accomplish?  Even the most rational people ( and this idiot is far from rational) can be completely stubborn when it comes to what they believe in.  You present an individual with evidence that contradicts one of their core beliefs and they find some other information to support them.  Most of our beliefs have a certain emotional component to them, which trumps rational thought, so it's difficult to actually change someone's mind through an argument.  The only time people truly change is when they want to or it becomes too uncomfortable to stay the same.

Now, back to the racist idiot.  He likes conflict and being a bigoted prick, why else would you write a blog with that kind of message?  He needs attention and probably has some insecurity issues, psychological as well.  Debating someone like him is a waste of time.  Any historical fact you bring up, he'll refute with something he has read that supports white supremacy.

Ultimately, life is short, far too short to waste one minute debating with an internet racist.  Better to ignore internet racist and let them rot away in their own hate/misery.  They created their own prison.
