My Minnesota Gophers lost to Michigan 67-64 yesterday, which puts them on the bubble as far as making the NCAA tournament. Whether they make it or not, this has still been a good year for them and they have far exceeded preseason predictions. With the recruiting class Tubby Smith has coming in, next year will probably be their time to shine.
Speaking of people trying to Shine, why is everybody talking about Rush Limbaugh? Why is everyone paying attention to what this guy says? Why do Republicans at first rebuke him, but then turn right back around and kiss his a**? I guess the answer to my question is Limbaugh has somehow become the Republicans de facto leader. Watching his speech at the Conservative Political Action Committee on CNN last weekend, I couldn't help but snicker at his behavior. He mockingly "dapped" a couple of his conservative buddies during his speech, this was an obvious reference to President Barrack Obama's dap to the First Lady back in June of last year, when he won the Democratic primary.
Politics aside, when I watch Limbaugh, he usually reminds me of a chubby five year old boy. I believe when discussing Limbaugh, one has to keep that in mind so you know how to deal with him. Its like when your five year old child goes to his room, but he doesn't want to go to bed. He's crying and screaming, so you shut his door. He cries even louder after you initially shut the door. Now, if you go back in his room and give him any attention, then he will continue to cry louder and louder. But, if shut door and don't go back in there, eventually the kid cries himself out and goes to bed. That's how you deal with the Rush Limbaugh's of the world, you shut the door and don't give him any attention.
Two people who need psychological attention is Chris Brown and Rihanna. After reading what happened in the police report, this was a very disturbing incident. I came away with a couple conclusions from this incident: One, this was not the first time he beat her. Second, they both are sick.
The average woman would have nothing to do with a man like Chris Brown, after an incident like this happened. Although, in many cases of abuse, the woman does go back to the abuser, time and time again. There is some shame/low self esteem thing inside of Ms. Rihanna, which is driving her back to Chris Brown. She needs some type of counseling and help from family members who care about her, to deal with this issue.
Chris Brown's behavior was disgusting. No matter the truth of whatever internet rumor (for example, she gave him herpes), to why this attack was so over the top. There is no justification to going as far as he did. His behavior since the incident doesn't really make me feel too hopeful that a change in his behavior will actually occur. He more than likely will eventually do it again. If anybody close to him really cares about his future, than they will be very honest with him in the present. They should encourage him to seek one on one counseling with a therapist. The anger management class and seeking counsel from a minister should only be the beginning for Chris Brown. Judging from that police report, it might takes years of counseling to really help Brown. That's if he's help-able at all.

I agree with everything you said.
Rush is a joke, but you know how Americans love them some comedians.
This whole thing with Chris Brown is disgusting. In my eyes this duded is in the same boat as R. Kelly
